Conviction Politics is an international digital history project exploring the impact of radicals and rebels transported as political convicts to Australia on their place of exile, and the patterns of collective resistance by the mass of unfree convict women and women to the exploitation of their forced labour.
This resource is valuable to History teachers as it directly links to the V9 Australian History Curriculum. To support our teachers to understand this how to use Conviction Politics within their classroom, the ACT History Teachers Association is holding a once-off special PD event in collaboration with colleagues from National Archives of Australia (NAA) and the academic team behind the project.
